The Carbon-Free Alliance works as a collaborative and cooperative entity among nations to promote the international expansion of the Carbon-Free Energy Initiative and establish practical alternatives. With its member companies at the core, the Carbon-Free Alliance designs the "Carbon-Free Energy Program" in collaboration with relevant industry associations and organizations, sharing the importance of advancing the Carbon-Free Energy Initiative worldwide.
Carbon-Free Energy Certification
The Carbon-Free Alliance is designing a certification system to promote carbon-free energy usage by businesses, utilizing various carbon-free energy sources from a technology-neutral perspective, including renewable energy, with international recognition of their performance. This system is developed in collaboration with member companies and key participating countries of the Carbon-Free Alliance, ensuring alignment with existing programs such as RE100, 24/7 CFE, and others.
International Standardization for Carbon-Free Energy
The Carbon-Free Alliance, in addition to establishing a carbon-free energy certification system, is actively promoting the proposal of international standards that encompass definitions and scope related to carbon-free energy in collaboration with its member companies and participating countries. The organization seeks to foster international consensus on the importance of carbon-free energy and its role in addressing the climate change, with the aim of leading future international standards in the field of carbon-Free energy.
International Expansion of
Carbon-Free Energy
The Carbon-Free Alliance uses international conferences and similar events as platforms to put carbon-free energy on the agenda and to globally promote the Carbon-Free Energy Initiative. It continuously expands consensus and outreach efforts with like-minded countries on carbon-free energy and actively pursues the participation of various stakeholders, including governments, major global companies, relevant private organizations and international organizations, in the Carbon-Free Alliance.
